Documentary On Michael Jordan And Chicago Bulls Premieres Tonight

First two episodes of The Last Dance air tonight at 9:00 PM.

The documentary The Last Dance, which focuses on Michael Jordan and his career with the Chicago Bulls, will air tonight on ESPN. The first two episodes of the ten-part series will be broadcast starting at 9:00 PM EST.

The docuseries takes a look at the Chicago Bulls’ dynasty that dominated the 90s. The story is primarily told through the lens of the final championship season which took place 1997-98. ESPN says the Bulls allowed an NBA Entertainment crew to follow them around through the entirety of that season. The documentary is said to feature plenty of never-before-seen footage of MJ and the team.

The ten-part series was directed by Jason Hehir, who also directed three ESPN 30 for 30 documentaries as well as the Andre The Giant TV documentary. ESPN will air two episodes at a time, every week, starting tonight and ending on May 17th.

The full documentary will air on ESPN but only in the U.S. A censored version of the documentary will be simulcast on ESPN2 and the ESPN App. Anybody interested in viewing the series outside of the United States will be able to watch it when it becomes available on Netflix.
