Soccer Game

Liverpool managed to hold on to their 2-1 scoreline against Brighton & Hove Albion after goalkeeper Alisson was sent off. Virgil Van Dijk scored twice in the first half to increase Liverpool’s unbeaten streak to 31 games; the third-longest streak in Premier League history.

Manchester City dropped valuable points once again after they conceded a late equalizer against Newcastle United in a 2-2 draw. City now finds itself 11 points behind Liverpool and with one win in their last five games in all competitions.

Liverpool who now has an 11-point lead remains the sportsbooks favorites for the sixth week in a row with odds of 400, their best odds of the season, to win the 2020 EPL Title. Manchester City also remains second with odds of +333, their worst odds of the season, to retain their Premier League Title.

Liverpool has a run of winnable games that could see them increase their already substantial lead at the top of the table. Man City, on the other hand, has several tricky games coming up against Manchester United, Arsenal and Leicester City.

The EPL Odds for the Best of the Rest

Tottenham Hotspur continued their winning run under Jose Mourinho. A 3-2 win over Bournemouth that took Tottenham to fifth in the Premier League table. Dele Alli continued his resurgence to top form scoring two goals in a Premier League game for the first time since April 2018 (vs Chelsea), and for the first time in a Premier League home game since January 2017 (also vs Chelsea)

Tottenham did run close to giving up their lead as Liverpool loanee Harry Wilson scored his second of the game in the 90th minute to pile on the pressure in stoppage time.

Sportsbooks have their updated odds on winning the 2020 EPL odds at a staggering +25000.

Arsenal who had their first game since Unai Emery was sacked, drew 2-2 with lowly Norwich City. The Gunners who are now managed by interim head coach and former player Freddie Ljungberg were trailing twice during the game until Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang netted twice to grab a draw.

Arsenal remains winless in the league since the 6th of October when they beat Bournemouth 1-0.

Sportsbooks has the odds of Arsenal winning the EPL Title at +75000.

Why the EPL Odds Say Chelsea Has No Shot to Win

Chelsea has lost two consecutive games for the first time this season after their 1-0 home loss to West Ham United on the weekend. With Tammy Abraham out with a hip injury, Chelsea’s presence up top was lackluster and went goalless for only the second time this season.

They’ve dropped to fourth in the table and are now three points behind Leicester City in second.

Chelsea now possesses the fourth-best odds to win the EPL title which opens at +10000.

Manchester United remain 9th in the Premier League table after a 2-2 home draw against Aston Villa. Villa were 2-1 down before Tyrone Mings netted to claim a point at Old Trafford.

United have won just four games this season and are now eight points behind Chelsea in fourth place.

Sportsbooks’ odds on Manchester United now open at +75000.

Leicester City remains second in the Premier League after a last-minute winner from Kelechi Iheanacho to secure a 2-1 win over Everton. Leicester was 1-0 up for most of the match before Jamie Vardy scored his 13th league goal of the season in the 68th minute before Iheanacho’s winner.

They’ve now won six games on the bounce and remain hot on the heels of Liverpool, despite being eight points behind the league leaders.

Sportsbooks’ odds on Leicester City to win the EPL title for the second time in their history is now open at +2000, the third-best odds in the league.

Liverpool and Manchester City remain the only clubs worth putting your money on, despite Leicester’s hugely impressive season. Liverpool remain favorites going into week 15 and we shall see if this continues until the end of the season.
