Tampa Bay Lightning Odds
The second-seeded Lightning hope the return of one — and perhaps two — of their stars will
provide their team a jolt on Sunday afternoon when they play Game 4 of the Eastern
Conference finals.
Alex Killorn boarded New York Islanders forward Brock Nelson in Tampa
Bay’s 2-1 victory in Game 2 to earn a one-game suspension, which he served in Friday’s 5-3
loss. The setback trimmed the Lightning’s lead to 2-1 in the best-of-seven series.
While the return of Killorn is a certainty, the availability of Brayden Point is very much in
question after the Lightning forward exited Wednesday’s contest with an undisclosed injury and
sat out Game 3 just two days later. Point’s eight goals lead the club in the postseason, while his
23 points are tied with reigning Hart Trophy recipient Nikita Kucherov.
Point and Kucherov’s postseason point totals are just one shy of Hall of Famer Martin St. Louis
and three behind the franchise record set by Brad Richards in 2004. Kucherov has two goals
and five assists in this series.
New York Islanders Odds
Nelson recorded his first points of the series after setting up Anthony Beauvillier’s team-leading
ninth goal in the second period on Friday before scoring the go-ahead tally with 3:25 remaining
in the third.
Coming through in the clutch is nothing new for Nelson, who has tied a team high
with his three game-winning goals in the playoffs after posting a career-best five in the regular
season.
Josh Bailey boosted his team-leading totals in assists (17) and points (19) after setting up a pair
of goals on Friday to notch his seventh multi-point performance of the postseason for the
sixth-seeded Islanders.
Semyon Varlamov made 34 saves to record his 10th win, becoming the
second member of the franchise (Hall of Famer Billy Smith, five times) to reach double-digit
victories in the playoffs.
While Nelson, Beauvillier and Bailey provided positives, New York’s sputtering power play has
done the team few favors of late. The Islanders are just 1-for-15 with the man advantage in the
last four games.
Lightning at Islanders Betting Pick
Reigning Vezina Trophy recipient Andrei Vasilevskiy surrendered four goals on 35 shots Friday,
a staggering total considering he allowed just 10 during the Lightning’s six-game winning streak.
Tampa Bay has also received offensive production from its defensemen in all 11 playoff games,
totaling 37 points (11 goals, 26 assists).

Tampa Bay converted its lone power-play opportunity on Friday following an early third-period
goal by Ondrej Palat, who has seven goals in his last seven games. The Lightning have scored
four times with the man advantage in this series.
That type of power surge is sure to keep the scoreboard operator busy.
