NFL Week 4 Best Bets: Russ, Rodgers, and Ravens

Best Picks for Week 4 of 2020 NFL Season

Greetings football fans and welcome back to our weekly edition of best picks for the upcoming football week. In Week 3, I correctly predicted that the Pittsburgh Steelers, Green Bay Packers, and Kansas City Chiefs would win their games.

As a result, I was blessed with a 3-0 mark for the second week in a row. Even more important, my overall record on the season is now 7-1. Here’s to hoping for the same level of success will continue.

With that being said, here are my best bets for Week 4

NFL Week 4 Best Bet No. 3. Seattle Seahawks (-6.5) at Miami Dolphins

The Seahawks come into this matchup unbeaten at 3-0, while the Miami Dolphins have dropped two of their first three games. However, there are a couple of things that could favor the Dolphins. For starters, Miami is well-rested since it’s been over a week from their last outing. Additionally, the Seahawks have given up the most yards per game in the NFL (497.3) and their opponents are averaging over 28 points per outing against them.

On the flip side of the coin, Russell Wilson has been playing extremely well (14 touchdowns against one interception) and he has thrown for over 300 yards in two of the team’s first three games. Furthermore, Wilson has thrown five touchdowns in each of his last two outings. That said, look for Seattle to continue its hot start with a win over the Dolphins.

James’ pick: Seattle Seahawks by more than a touchdown

NFL Week 4 Best Bet No. 2: Atlanta Falcons at Green Bay Packers (-7.5)

The Atlanta Falcons have lost each of their three games this season. Meanwhile, the Green Bay Packers have won all three of their games. While the overall records are one indicator of how this game may play out, several other factors come into play as well. For starters, the Green Bay Packers are second in total offense and they are averaging a league-best 40.7 points per contest.

On the other side of the equation, the Falcons have been nothing short of a train wreck in their last two games. In their Week 2 against the Dallas Cowboys, they coughed up a 15-point deficit. And if that wasn’t bad enough the trend reared its ugly head again in their Week 3 loss to the Chicago Bears.

They were up 26-10 in the fourth quarter but allowed the Bears’ offense to record three touchdowns and wound up losing that game 30-26. Green Bay is off a to a great start and that will continue against a Falcons team that finds different ways to lose games.

James’ pick: Green Bay Packers

Editor’s Note: If anybody is feeling funky, feel free to take the Atlanta Falcons 1st half moneyline before fading them in the 2nd half. If you do this, feel free to show us on social @OddsUSA

NFL Week 4 Best Bet of the Week: Baltimore Ravens (-13) at Washington Football Team

Now, it’s time for my sure bet of the week. If there is one of the matchups I feel confident about picking, it is this one. The Washington Football Team is just 1-2, even though that mark is tied for the best record in the NFC East. Conversely, the Ravens are 2-1 following their 34-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3.

In that contest, reigning MVP Lamar Jackson completed 15 of 28 passes but was held to just 97 yards. His record against KC is now 0-3. Following that disappointing outing, Jackson and the Ravens will be looking to take their frustration out on someone and Washington makes for the perfect opponent.

James’ picks: Baltimore Ravens in a rout
