League will reveal full 2020 regular-season schedule on Thursday
On Thursday night at 8:00 PM EST, the NFL will unveil the full schedule for the 2020 regular-season. The schedule release will be available for anybody to watch on NFL.com, the NFL App, and the NFL Network.
There will be some changes to the NFL schedule this year due to the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic. The league announced yesterday that games will not be played at international venues this coming season. This means that five regular-season games, which were originally scheduled to take place in England and Mexico, will now all be played in the United States.
The NFL released the full list of all 32 teams’ opponents back in December. The times and dates of when all these games will be played will become official after the schedule is revealed Thursday night.
Leading up to 8:00 PM EST, the NFL will be hosting Schedule Release ’20. This will be a three-hour-long show in which analysts break down the 2020 regular season and how they think things will play out this coming year.
At this time, the league has prepared a number of contingency plans should the Coronavirus Pandemic intensify. Right now, the league is still trying to determine when it will be safe for players to return to team facilities. For the time being, teams will continue conducting all organizational activities virtually.
