Bears at Panthers Betting Preview: Bears(+1.5, -110), Panthers(-1.5/-110)
The Bears head to Charlotte with plenty of confidence after holding off Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a 20-19 win in Week 5. That boosted the Bears’ record to 4-1, putting them within a half-game of the undefeated Green Bay Packers for the top spot in the NFC North division.
Nick Foles will make his second start since replacing Mitchell Trubisky at quarterback. Foles was not perfect against the Buccaneers but engineered another comeback with his trademark calm under pressure.
The Bears are 2-0 on the road with wins at Detroit and Atlanta this season.
It didn’t look pretty when the Panthers stumbled out of the gate with an 0-2 start after losses against the Las Vegas Raiders and Tampa Bay. Since then, however, Carolina has reeled off three straight wins to pull into a three-way tie for first place in the NFC South.
The turnover battle has been key to Carolina’s turnaround. The Panthers have committed one turnover in the past three games while forcing six takeaways in that span. They will be on the hunt for fumbles and interceptions this weekend at home, where they are 1-1 to start the season.
Bears at Panthers Betting Pick for Week 6
After a roller-coaster win over Brady & Co., the Bears could be due for a letdown as they go on the road to face a surging Panthers’ team. Chicago’s offense remains a work in progress as it prepares for a defense that has not allowed more than 21 points in any of its last three games.
Carolina figures to continue to feed the ball to running back Mike Davis, who never found a rhythm during his time with the Bears. Look for Davis to make a statement against his former team — and for Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to continue his impressive play in 2020.

Bears at Panthers Best Bet for Week 6
Chicago has had 10 days off between games and should be fresh, while Carolina should be sharp after the quick return from a short road trip to Atlanta last week.
Carolina has racked up 430-plus yards of total offense in each of the past two weeks, and Chicago should have more chemistry on offense as Foles continues to work with the starting unit.
Long story short, look for both teams to score some points in Week 6. A defensive or special-teams touchdown also could help push the total toward the over.
Bears at Panthers Best Bet: OVER 45 points (-110)
