Razorbacks at Tigers Betting Preview: Razorbacks (+16.5), Tigers (-16.5)
Arkansas Razorbacks
First-year coach Sam Pittman doesn’t think he will have a problem getting his Razorbacks to focus this week as they travel to Auburn after snapping a nearly three-year, 20-game losing streak in SEC play with last week’s 21-14 win at Mississippi State.
“I don’t think it will be one bit of a problem,” Pittman said. “I know our coaching staff has moved on, and our players usually do what we do.”
The defense has made a big difference for the Razorbacks so far. The Hogs held Georgia to just 5 first-half points in the opener before wearing down in the second half and held Mississippi State to just 87 rushing yards last week while forcing four turnovers. The Hogs have five turnovers and forced six in the two games.
Linebackers Bumper Pool and Grant Morgan have 31 and 28 tackles, respectively, in the early going. Safety Joe Foucha has a pair of interceptions and nickelback Greg Brooks Jr. returned a pick for a touchdown against Mississippi State.
Auburn Tigers
Auburn blew out the Razorbacks 51-10 in last season’s meeting, but Auburn coach Gus Malzahn does not expect a repeat with the Hogs ending their long conference losing streak with last week’s win at Mississippi State.
“They had a big win, so they’ll definitely be confident and give it their best,” Malzahn said. “We will, too, so should be a good one.”
The Tigers were never really in the game in a 27-6 loss last week at Georgia. They managed only 216 yards in total offense with a meager 39 rushing. Bo Nix was 21 of 30 passing for 177 yards and no touchdowns after going 16 of 27 for 233 yards and three scores in the opening win over Kentucky.
“Bo created a lot of things, and when things broke down he made some plays,” Malzahn said. “We just have to do a better job of being balanced and running the football and throwing the football. They made us one dimensional, and that made it extremely tough.”
Razorbacks at Tigers Betting Pick for October 10, 2020
Feleipe Franks had a much steadier effort in the win over Mississippi after a lackluster day in the opener against Georgia.. He was 20 of 28 passing at Mississippi State with no interceptions after going just 19 of 35 with two picks against Georgia. The defense has been solid for the Hogs in both games despite the second-half against Georgia.

Tigers 28, Razorbacks 17
