ACC Odds Report: Another Strong Week from Louisville
After a sluggish start in the first-half against lowly Wake Forest, Louisville flipped a switch and didn’t look back in an 86-76 victory.
The Cardinals (21-3, 12-1 ACC) carried that performance into Saturday’s 80-73 win over Virginia, and now have a game and a half lead on Florida State and Duke for first-place in the conference.
From a betting perspective, the Cardinals failed to cover the 15.5 point spread against the Deacons. Their game against Virginia wound up being graded as a push (-7) if you didn’t buy the hook.
Both matchups for the Cardinals went over the number. The Cardinals have gone over the number in 8 of their last 12 games.
In games where Louisville has been favored by 15 points or more the Cardinals are just 2-4 ATS this season.
Oddsmakers still aren’t completely sold on Louisville being the favorite to win the ACC Tournament though, as they have the Chris Mack’s Cardinals listed at +300 to win the conference tournament title.
At the rate Louisville is going, however, if you think the Cardinals can win the ACC Tournament in March, you might want to look into Louisville’s odds to be a No. 1 seed (+275) and to win the National Championship (+1200) as well.

Duke Odds: Blue Devils Survive Carolina, Faces Huge Date with ‘Noles
The Duke Blue Devils failed to cover the 7.5-point spread in their instant classic against North Carolina on Saturday, but escaped Chapel Hill with a narrow 98-96 victory over their bitter rivals.
Earlier in the week, the Blue Devils held off Boston College 63-55 in a game that may have been a look ahead game for the Dukies. Nonetheless, they did not cover their lofty 14.5 point spread in that contest either, giving the Dukies a 2-5 ATS record in their last seven games.
Duke (20-3, 10-2 ACC) returns home as 8.5-point favorites on Monday evening for an enormous matchup with Florida State (20-3, 10-2 ACC) for sole possession of second-place in the conference.
In the futures market, Duke remains the short favorite to win the ACC Tournament at +275. Oddsmakers have listed the Blue Devils at +150 to receive a #1 seed in the dance and at +1100 to win it all.
Florida State Odds: Seminoles Loom as Conference’s Biggest Sleeper
The Noles handled the lone game on their schedule last week when they blasted in-state rival Miami 99-81 on Saturday.
Leonard Hamilton’s boys easily covered the 13.5 point spread and the game flew over the 144–point total to make it 7 overs in the last 9 games for Florida State.
As mentioned previously, Florida State has quite the game on their schedule to start the week when they go to Cameron Indoor to face Duke.
Should the Noles pull off the massive road victory, they would be in control of their own destiny to not only win the ACC but potentially secure a No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
In the futures market, you can get good value at +300 for the Seminoles to win the ACC Tournament in March. The Seminoles are also listed at +200 to be a 1-seed, and at +2000 to win the NCAA Tournament.
Given the talent and depth on this roster, any Seminoles futures odds may be worth a small wager on.
Is There a Dark Horse to Bet On With the ACC Odds?
It’s really hard to see anyone outside of the Top 3 in the ACC making any noise in March, but if there is one school to keep an eye on in the conference, it’s probably the defending national champs.
Virginia (15-7, 7-5 ACC) is hanging on for dear life currently as we enter the middle of February, and a loss to Louisville did not help their cause as this is a team in need of a quality win on their resume.
The conference is projected to get 3 teams into the dance with Virginia fighting to be the 4th.
Oddsmakers have the Cavs listed at +600 to win the ACC Tournament in March.
North Carolina (10-13, 3-9 ACC) has shown improvement since freshman guard Cole Anthony returned to the lineup, but they remain at the bottom of the conference standings.
Despite their horrendous regular season, oddsmakers still have the Heels listed at +1000 to win the conference tournament.
