Two-time All-Star Ben Simmons remains out indefinitely with a subluxation of his left kneecap and likely is lost for the season as surgery on his left knee looms, according to reports.
“It’s hard to replace Ben,” big man Al Horford said. “The way we look at it is we just have to step up more.” Philadelphia (42-27) did just that Friday in its first game without Simmons.
Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris, and Horford each had at least 21 points and nine rebounds in a 108-101 win against Orlando, becoming the first Sixers trio to accomplish that feat since November 1988.

Guard Damian Lillard shot just 2-for-10 from 3-point range Saturday after drilling a career-high-tying 11 treys Thursday. Center Hassan Whiteside (left hip strain) did not play against Los Angeles.
