Flashy freshman Ja Morant is the favorite to be named Rookie of the Year in the NBA, but the Grizzlies are getting more than expected out of his supporting cast. Morant and fellow rookie Brandon Clarke bring scoring punch and matchup challenges, even for the Portland Trail Blazers, who lost the previous meeting on Feb. 12 111-104.
The Grizzlies are among league leaders with 27 assists per game and can spread the floor to capitalize against teams without a strong interior defender.

The Blazers are 3.5 games behind the Grizzlies in the chase for the final spot in the Western Conference playoffs. Guard tandem Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum, who scored 23 points in the February loss, can fill it up but have welcomed small forward Carmelo Anthony in a contributing role.
