Forward Danuel House Jr. was dismissed from the NBA bubble near Orlando on Friday for violating health and safety protocols by having a guest in his hotel room for multiple hours on Tuesday. House didn’t play in Games 3 or 4 and is now done for the rest of the season.
His departure comes with the Rockets facing a 3-1 deficit and barely clinging to life after being outplayed handily in Thursday’s 110-100 loss. Star guard James Harden was just 2 of 11 from the field in Game 4 but used a 16-of-20 performance from the free-throw line to score 21 points.
