Dallas Mavericks Odds
After getting everything they could have hoped from Luka Doncic in his playoff debut, the Dallas Mavericks will hope to finish Wednesday’s Game 2 of the series against the Los Angeles Clippers with all of their players on the floor.
Doncic scored 42 points, a record for a player in his first ever playoff game, but Kristaps Porzingis was ejected in the third quarter for receiving his second technical foul. Seth Curry had 14 points off the bench in his second game since returning from right leg soreness.
After scoring 30.5 points per game during the NBA’s restart, Porzingis had just 14 in 20 minutes Monday. Dallas had 21 turnovers in Game 1 to 12 for the Clippers.
Los Angeles Clippers
The Los Angeles Clippers showed off a balanced attack in a Game 1 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Monday — getting 29 points from Kawhi Leonard and 27 from Paul George — and look to repeat the prowess on Wednesday.
Marcus Morris Sr. had 19 but his biggest contribution might have been a brief third-quarter dust up with Kristaps Porzingis that earned the Dallas big man a second technical and an ejection. It was the first game in the NBA bubble for the Clippers’ Montrezl Harrell, who had six points in 15 minutes.
Harrell recently returned to the Orlando area after he left to be with his ailing grandmother, who passed away. He cleared quarantine before Monday’s game. The Clippers are 4-0 against the Mavericks this season.
