Can Anyone Stop the Lakers Freight Train?
Through 19 games of the season, the Los Angeles Lakers are 17-2 on an eight game winning streak, and have not one but two of the frontrunners for NBA MVP playing on their team. Western conference also-rans for much of the past half decade, the return to form for the league’s pre-eminent franchise must be scary for the rest of the Association to watch. Beating the Lakers in a seven-game playoff series will be a tall task.
The rebirth of a juggernaut Lakers squad has been impressive. Lebron James and Anthony Davis represent the league’s pre-eminent pairing and have been almost unstoppable through two months of NBA action. Surrounded by shooters in his second year in LA, the “King” is currently averaging nearly 26 points along with 11 assists and 7.3 rebounds per game. Now in his 17th season, Lebron has a chance at the NBA MVP award, Finals MVP and an NBA Title in 2020. Never underestimate Lebron.

How The Greek Freak is Keeping the Bucks NBA Title Odds Up Out East
Giannis Antetokoumpo has somehow followed up his MVP campaign with an even better start to this year. Currently averaging 31 points, nearly 14 rebounds, and 6.4 assists on the season, Giannis has the Bucks on his back. If he can eventually add any semblance of a pull-up jumper to his game, he will be utterly unstoppable.
Giannis will drag the Milwaukee Bucks to at least the Eastern Conference Finals again this year if he doesn’t run out of gas. This team will simply go as far as Giannis takes them, and if you watch the Bucks play, it’s extremely hard to bet against the “Greek Freak” leading his team all the way to the Larry O’Brien trophy. Watch out for the Bucks at +550.

A Long Shot for the NBA Title Odds… Look to Dallas for Some International Flavor
Buoyed by the spectacular play of 20-year-old Luka Doncic, the Dallas Mavericks have entered the fray at +5500 to win the NBA Title. The Mavs look well on their way to establishing what could be a championship winning roster. Doncic and the “Unicorn” Kristaps Porzingis give the squad one of the most dangerous, young, dynamic duos in the league today. Sitting fifth in the Western Conference thus far, the Mavs are smack dab in the thick of things. The playoffs out West will be a murderers’ row, but if anyone can navigate the waters and lead the Mavericks back to glory, its Doncic.
