Miami Heat Odds

The Miami Heat had won five of their past seven games before the COVID-19 pandemic prompted the NBA season to pause. Behind a refreshed Bam Adebayo, Miami now looks to recapture that swagger as it resumes the season Saturday with a seeding game against the Denver Nuggets at HP Field House near Orlando.
A 6-foot-9 center, Adebayo has notched a team-best 39 double-doubles, tied for seventh in the NBA. At 16.2 points a game, he is the Heat’s second-leading scorer, trailing only forward Jimmy Butler (20.2). The Heat lost their only other meeting with the Nuggets this season, 109-89 at Denver on Nov. 5. Butler scored a team-best 16 points but shot 3-for-12 from the floor.

Denver Nuggets Odds

The Denver Nuggets alternated wins and losses for their final eight games before the NBA season went on pause. With a rested lineup in tow, the Nuggets are aiming to be far more consistent during their eight seeding games, beginning with Saturday’s restart opener against the Miami Heat at HP Field House near Orlando.
Guard Jamal Murray is listed as questionable due to a tightness in his left hamstring, which could be a problem with Gary Harris (hip) and Will Harris (knee) both ruled out of the contest. Leading scorer and rebounder Nikola Jokic, who averages 20.2 points and 10.2 boards, is tied with Miami’s Bam Adebayo for seventh in the NBA with 39 double-doubles.
