Harr’s NASCAR Prop Bets and Go Bowling at the Glen Prop Bets
What: Go Bowling 235
Where: Daytona Beach, Florida
When: Sunday, August 16
We are back in Florida for the first time since COVID-19 happened and NASCAR has decided to move what would have been the Go Bowling 235 race in Watkins Glen, New York to Daytona’s road course. After Florida, NASCAR will head to the Monster Mile and Dover, Delaware for a pair of races, much like we have seen earlier this season in places like Michigan.
Last weekend at Michigan, Kevin Harvick continued his epic season by winning both races at MIS (Michigan International Speedway). This is going to be interesting to see how these drivers handle this new course that has many different turns to it. For example, the second turn is a very quick right turn and in the third it is a flat turn that drivers will have to shift into first gear when entering it.
I plan on basing my picks on who knows how to drive well on road courses considering we don’t know what to expect on this surface. 39 drivers will suit up this Sunday for the 23rd race of the season.

Go Bowling at the Glen Matchup Prop Bets
-165 Alex Bowman over Austin Dillon
In 14 career races on road courses, Dillon has zero top 10 finishes. Bowman, who has had a tough run the second half of the season, has however faired decently on road courses. Bowman has two top 5’s and a second place finish in ten career road course runs.
+105 Joey Logano over Brad Keselowski
In 24 career road course races, Logana has one win and 11 top 10’s. In that same time frame, Keselowski has just nine top 10’s with zero victories.
-120 Denny Hamlin over Kevin Harvick
Harvick has had an unbelievable season so far, but after winning both races in Michigan, he might back off a bit since road courses is not where he excels. Hamlin was close to Harvick on Sunday finishing less than a second behind him.

Top 10 Finisher
-135 Clint Bowyer
Bowyer is an excellent road course racer who has the second-best average finish on road courses at 7.88 (Harvick is 1st) since February of 2017. In his last eight road course races, Bowyer and Truex have the most top 5 finishes with five. In 30 career road races, Bowyer has 17 top 10’s and 12 top 5’s.
Top Toyota Car Prop Bet

In his last eight road course races, he has three wins and has the third best average finish for drivers during that time.

+40000 Timmy Hill
Top Toyota Car Prop Bet Betting Pick: Truex, Jr.
Top 3 and Win Finish
Chase Elliott +115 and +400
Martin Truex +115 and +400
I’m going with the favorites even though it’s hard for me to go against Denny Hamlin. I explained why I feel Harvick will backdown, but Hamlin is my main worry against Elliott and Truex. The main reason I won’t take Hamlin is that he has 4 DNF in his career on road courses.
Truex has four career wins on road courses and Elliott in 10 road races has three wins and has led for 179 laps (only Truex has more laps led in that time).
