Colorado Rockies Odds
Right-hander Antonio Senzatela (3-1, 3.33 ERA) is scheduled to get the start Wednesday after holding the Dodgers to two runs into the sixth inning on Friday and going seven scoreless against the Padres on Aug. 29.
Senzatela likes pitching in Petco Park, going 2-1 there with a 2.95 ERA in six outings (three starts). The Rockies’ bullpen was leaned on heavily Tuesday, recording every but one out.
Nolan Arenado hit a three-run homer off Mike Clevinger on Tuesday, his first long ball since Aug. 20, while collecting his second consecutive multi-hit game. Charlie Blackmon, since he was batting .500 on Aug. 11, is 17-for-90 (.189) to drop his overall average to .323.
San Diego Padres Odds
Wil Myers hit a grand slam Tuesday in the Padres’ 14-5 win over Colorado, his second of the season and the seventh for the Padres this year. San Diego belted grand slams in a record four consecutive games last month.
The Padres scored double-digit runs for the first time in seven games, but it was the fifth time in their past 13 games. In his first start after first baseman Eric Hosmer fractured his left index finger, Mitch Moreland went 2-for-5 with a double.
Right-hander Zach Davies (6-2, 2.23 ERA) will start Wednesday, having given up seven runs in two starts against the Rockies this year, but only three earned. He pitched seven scoreless innings against the Oakland A’s on Friday.
Rockies at Padres Betting Pick for September 9, 2020
Davies has pitched at home just twice this season, tossing 5 2/3 scoreless innings against Arizona on Aug. 7 and giving up just two runs in eight innings against Houston on Aug. 22.
He is the best thing going in a solid Padres rotation right now.

Rockies at Padres Best Bet for September 9
Senzatela and Davis have been on their games of late, and with the shadows caused by a 5:10 p.m. local start, offense figures to be hard to come by, even from a pair of potent lineups.
Rockies at Padres best bet: Under 9 (-122)
