Minnesota Vikings Odds

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins leads the league with a 114.8 passer
rating, which would be the eighth-best in league history over a full season. Cousins
has thrown 177 consecutive passes without an interception, the longest active streak
in the NFL. The franchise record is 193, set by Warren Moon in 1995.
Wide receiver Adam Thielen (hamstring) has practiced this week, although in a
limited role, and could return Monday. Running back Dalvin Cook is the Vikings’ first
1,000-yard rusher since Adrian Peterson in 2015. Linebacker Eric Kendricks, whose
brother Mychal plays for Seattle, leads the league at his position with 12 passes
defensed. The Vikings have lost their past five meetings with Seattle, last winning in
2009.

Seattle Seahawks Odds

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said he’s “counting on” All-Pro defensive
end Jadeveon Clowney being in the lineup Monday after missing last week’s game
with sports hernia-related symptoms. The Seahawks are 28-5-1 in prime-time games
under Carroll, including 18-2 at home. Seattle’s Russell Wilson is the first
quarterback in NFL history with winning records in each of his first eight seasons.
His favorite target, wide receiver Tyler Lockett, has a TD catch in six straight home
games. Running back Chris Carson needs 121 yards rushing for his second straight
1,000-yard season. Seattle’s defense has allowed just one offensive touchdown in
each of its past two games. The Seahawks’ D is third in the league with 24 total
takeaways.
