Utah Jazz at Brooklyn Nets

Utah Jazz Preview

The Utah Jazz strive to win for the 10th straight time and 15th in the past 16 games when they visit the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night. Utah hasn’t won 10 in a row since an 11-game victory streak in the 2017-18 season. The Jazz’s lone loss during the current 15-game stretch was a 107-104 decision at the Miami Heat in which Utah took a five-point lead into the fourth quarter.

Star shooting guard Donovan Mitchell (illness) is expected to return after missing the Jazz’s 127-116 road win over the Washington Wizards on Sunday. Forward Bojan Bogdanovic scored 31 points against the Wizards for his second 30-point effort in four games and eighth of the season.

Brooklyn Nets Preview

Guard Kyrie Irving enjoyed a solid return to the floor, and he looks to have another strong performance when the Brooklyn Nets host the Utah Jazz on Tuesday night. Irving missed 26 games with a shoulder injury, but his shooting touch was superb on Sunday when he hit 10 of 11 field-goal attempts and scored 21 points in 20 minutes as the Nets routed the Atlanta Hawks 108-86. Brooklyn has won back-to-back games following a season-worst, seven-game losing streak.

Guard Spencer Dinwiddie, who was the club’s top player with Irving out, had just seven points versus Atlanta after reaching double digits in 30 straight outings. The Nets lost 119-114 at Utah on Nov. 12 and have dropped nine of the past 11 meetings.
