The Portland Trail Blazers look to follow up one of their best performances of the season when they visit the Dallas Mavericks on Friday. The Trail Blazers opened a three-game road swing with a 117-107 win over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday and held NBA scoring leader James Harden to a season-low 13 points. Point guard Damian Lillard scored 25 points and shooting guard CJ McCollum added 24 points to lead the charge.
Forward Carmelo Anthony recorded 18 points and 12 rebounds for his second double-double in three games and third of the season. The Trail Blazers defeated the Mavericks 121-119 in Dallas on Oct. 27 behind 35 points from McCollum and 28 from Lillard.

Star point guard Luka Doncic aims to post another stellar performance when the Dallas Mavericks host the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday. The 20-year-old Slovenian registered his 12th triple-double of the season and 20th of his career when he had 25 points, 15 rebounds and a career-best 17 assists on Wednesday in Dallas’ 127-123 road win over the Sacramento Kings.
The Mavericks could have power forward Kristaps Porzingis (right knee) back in the lineup Frida after a nine-game absence. Forward Dwight Powell has played well while Porzingis has been sidelined. He is averaging 19 points over the past three games and is shooting 81.5 percent from the field (44 of 54) over the past seven games.
