Coming off a comeback win Saturday over Iowa State, the Texas Longhorns (14-7, 4-4 Big 12) begin a grueling eight-day stretch that includes a road game Monday against the Kansas Jayhawks and home games against Texas Tech and Baylor. The Longhorns moved to 4-0 in games they have shot at least 50 percent by making 52.8 percent of their attempts against Iowa State.
A balanced scoring attack included 14 points from sophomore guard Courtney Ramey, all in the second half. Strong balance finds five Longhorns averaging between 9.8 and 12.3 points. Texas has lost 12 of the last 13 meetings against Kansas.

Winners of six straight, the Kansas Jayhawks (18-3, 7-1 Big 12) remain one game back in the Big 12 race entering a home game Monday against the Texas Longhorns. Kansas won the previous meeting, 66-57, on Jan. 18 in Austin. Following a suspension to sophomore forward David McCormack, Kansas has settled on a four-guard lineup around senior center Udoka Azubuike.
McCormack returned from a suspension in a win Saturday over Texas Tech and provides frontline depth. Devon Dotson, a sophomore point guard, led the Jayhawks with 21 points against Texas Tech and leads the Big 12 in scoring with an 18.1-point average.
