Pittsburgh Steelers Preview

The Pittsburgh Steelers have gotten through inconsistent quarterback play with their ability to create turnovers. They are tied for second in the league at plus-11 in turnover ratio and are second in both interceptions (15) and fumbles recovered (15). Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick has provided a big bump. He scored on a 96-yard interception return against Indianapolis and on a 43-yard fumble recovery against the Rams, games the Steelers won by a total of seven points.
Fitzpatrick is tied for the league lead with five interceptions, and linebacker Devin Bush has four fumble recoveries, one for a touchdown. The Cardinals have only nine turnovers, and rookie quarterback Kyler Murray has thrown only six interceptions.

The Arizona Cardinals continue to tinker with a leaky pass defense, releasing cornerback Tramaine Brock this week. Brock, who made seven starts, is the second secondary starter to go after safety D.J. Swearinger was released after four games. Coach Kliff Kingsbury asserted his confidence in defensive coordinator Vance Joseph, saying, “I watch the tape and see what’s going on.”
Eight-time Pro Bowl cornerback Patrick Peterson has yet to return to previous form after his six-game suspension, and Kingsbury called him “still a work in progress.” On offense, running backs Kenyan Drake, David Johnson and Chase Edmunds remain part of a committee, although Drake has started all four games since his arrival in late October.
