Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams

Seattle Seahawks Preview

The Seattle Seahawks are one victory away from officially wrapping up an NFC playoff spot and will get their first chance to lock it up on the road against the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday night. The Seahawks won an Oct. 3 home matchup with the Rams 30-29 when Russell Wilson threw four touchdown passes.
It was the second victory for the Seahawks in a stretch where they have won eight of nine games, including five consecutive. Seattle unleashed its rushing attack in a victory Monday over the Minnesota Vikings, gaining 218 yards on the ground with two TDs. The Seahawks have gone 6-0 on the road this season while forging their 10-2 record.

Los Angeles Rams Preview

The Los Angeles Rams are feeling a lot better about themselves heading into a prime-time home matchup Sunday with the first-place Seattle Seahawks. The Rams went on the road for a 34-7 victory over the Cardinals last weekend, as Jared Goff threw for 424 yards and two TDs. Todd Gurley had his third game of at least 95 yards on the ground but still does not have a 100-yard game this season.
The Rams’ defense returned to form after they were dominated by the Baltimore Ravens on Nov. 25. The Rams gave up just 198 yards of total offense to the Cardinals and scored a defensive TD. The Rams lost 30-29 at Seattle on Oct. 3 when kicker Greg Zuerlein missed a 44-yard field-goal attempt with 11 seconds remaining.
