Oakland Raiders at New York Jets

Oaland Raiders Odds

The Oakland Raiders have an opportunity to move into a tie for first place in the AFC West
when they visit the New York Jets on Sunday. The Raiders have won three in a row, all at
home. A fourth straight win would give them a 7-4 record, the same as division-leading
Kansas City, which has a bye this week. The Raiders are facing the Jets for the 47th time in
the last 60 years, a run that’s included a meeting in the AFL Championship Game in 1968
and three other postseason head-to-heads. Raiders quarterback Derek Carr saw a streak of
three straight games without an interception end in last week’s 17-10 win over Cincinnati. He
remains one of just nine quarterbacks in the NFL with at least 15 touchdown passes and five
or fewer interceptions.,

New York Jets Odds

The New York Jets hope to see quarterback Sam Darnold improve off a season-best
performance when they host the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. Darnold threw for 293 yards,
his second-most this year, and a season-high four touchdowns in last week’s 34-17 win at
Washington. Darnold has accounted for six touchdowns (one rushing) in the last two games,
helping the Jets achieve their first winning streak of the season. He will take aim at the pass
defense that’s allowed the sixth-most yards (262.2 per game) and third-most touchdowns
(24). The last time the Jets hosted the Raiders, the New York defense dominated in a 19-14
win in September 2014. It will face a tough challenge in Raiders rookie Josh Jacobs, who
ranks fourth in the NFL at 92.3 rushing yards per game.
