Oakland Raiders Odds

The Oakland Raiders must rebound from a disastrous 34-3 setback to the New York
Jets last Sunday while attempting to keep pace in the AFC West. They trail the
Kansas City Chiefs by one game and lost the previous matchup, 28-10, on Sept. 15
after getting blanked over the final three quarters. Quarterback Derek Carr will be
without his favorite third-down target out of the slot, rookie Hunter Renfrow (ribs).
Of the Renfrow’s 36 receptions, 23 moved the chains. Renfrow’s quickness helped
Carr with his fast release, which has contributed to just 16 sacks allowed by the
Raiders. Josh Jacobs needs 43 rushing yards to reach the 1,000-yard plateau in his
rookie season. Center Rodney Hudson continues to deal with an ankle injury but has
played every snap the last three weeks.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs, seeking a fourth straight division crown, hold a one-game
lead over the Oakland Raiders. The Chiefs, 3-0 in the AFC West, have games
remaining against each division rival, all at home. Kansas City has won four straight
against the Raiders and 11 of 13. Andy Reid is 17-3 in his career coming off a bye,
including 10-1 at home.
Quarterback Patrick Mahomes is coming off his worst passing performance in a
complete game, throwing for just 182 yards but adding a career-best 59 on the
ground in a Nov. 18 win over the Los Angeles Chargers. Wide receiver Tyreek Hill
injured a hamstring on the first series against the Chargers but is expected to play.
Defensive end Alex Okafor (ankle) also should return.
