The Portland Trail Blazers look to snap their third four-game losing streak of the season on Wednesday when they open a five-game road trip against the New York Knicks. The Trail Blazers saw their current skid continue Monday after squandering a 19-point lead en route to a 122-116 setback to the Suns.

Damian Lillard, who scored 16 of his 33 points in the first quarter against Phoenix, posted 31 points with a season-high-tying eight 3-pointers in Portland’s 115-87 victory over New York on Dec. 10. Carmelo Anthony, who played for the Knicks from 2011-17, scored 16 points in that contest and enters Wednesday’s tilt shooting 32.6 percent (14 of 43) from the floor in his past three games.

New York Knicks Preview

The New York Knicks will attempt to extend their winning streak to a season-high three games on Wednesday when they host the Portland Trail Blazers. Julius Randle continued his torrid display by following up 35- and 33-point performances with 30 points and a season-high-tying 16 rebounds in New York’s 107-100 road win over the Washington Wizards on Saturday.

The 25-year-old finished with 15 points in the Knicks’ 115-87 setback in Portland on Dec. 10, a defeat that extended New York’s losing skid to a season-high 10 games. Bobby Portis had 11 points and 10 rebounds in that contest, his only double-double in his past 24 games after he had three in his first nine games.
