Brooklyn Nets Preview

The Brooklyn Nets look to beat Detroit for the second time in five days when they host the Pistons on Wednesday. Brooklyn posted a 121-111 overtime road triumph over the Pistons on Saturday as guard Kyrie Irving broke out with 45 points.

Irving missed the following day’s 110-97 road loss against the New York Knicks as he was too distraught to play after learning of the tragic death of NBA icon Kobe Bryant. The loss to New York was the 13th in the past 16 games for the Nets. Guard Spencer Dinwiddie scored 23 points vs. the Knicks, his fifth 20-point effort of the month.
