Rookie Zion Williamson looks to lead the New Orleans Pelicans to their fifth win in six games on Sunday when they visit the NBA-worst Golden State Warriors in San Francisco. Williams scored 25 points on Friday as the Pelicans opened their three-game road trip with a 128-115 victory in Portland.

The top overall pick of the 2019 NBA Draft has reached the 20-point plateau in each of his last seven games and nine of 11 since returning from a right knee injury. Brandon Ingram, who averages a team-best 24.7 points per game, scored 16 in his return from a three-game absence due to an ankle injury. Jrue Holiday had 20 points and nine assists on Friday to fall just shy of his fourth consecutive double-double.

Golden State Warriors Preview

The Golden State Warriors bid to snap a five-game losing streak on Sunday when they face rookie Zion Williamson and the New Orleans Pelicans in San Francisco. The NBA-worst Warriors have just 12 wins to their credit this season, but two have come at the expense of the Pelicans — albeit without Williamson in the lineup.

Golden State opened a four-game homestand with a thud on Thursday, dropping a 135-105 decision to Houston. Andrew Wiggins, who scored 22 points on 10-of-17 shooting from the floor against the Rockets, has averaged 22.8 points in four games since being acquired from Minnesota. Draymond Green has 25 assists in his last three games.
