Oklahoma Cowboys at Kansas Jayhawks

Oklahoma State Cowboys Preview

Oklahoma State has won four of six. By climbing above .500 with a win Saturday over Oklahoma, the Cowboys maintain a glimmer of hope for a postseason bid. Forward Cameron McGriff matched a career-high with 28 points against Oklahoma.

An emerging standout for Oklahoma State is Kalib Boone, who contributed 14 points and six rebounds off the bench and was called “our most natural post scorer” by Cowboys coach Mike Boynton. Another center, Yor Anei, added a double-double against the Sooners. The Cowboys are 2-6 in Big 12 road games. In 2018, Oklahoma State became the first team to sweep a Bill Self-coached Kansas squad in a home-and-home Big 12 season series.

Kansas Jayhawks Preview

Kansas is poised to move to No. 1 in the polls for the second time this season after beating Baylor on Saturday. The Jayhawks’ 12th straight win bumped them into a first-place tie with the Bears atop the Big 12. Kansas has four games remaining in conference play as it attempts to regain the Big 12 title after its 14-year streak of league championships was snapped last season.

The Jayhawks won at Oklahoma State, 65-50, on Jan. 27. Udoka Azubuike is coming off his 11th double-double (23 points, 19 rebounds) and leads the nation in field goal percentage (.740). Devon Dotson leads Big 12 scorers with an 18.2-point average.
