The Oklahoma City Thunder will be looking to start a new winning streak when they visit the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night. The Thunder’s 120-113 defeat to a desperate Philadelphia 76ers team Monday ended their season-best five game winning streak. Oklahoma City had won nine of its last 10 games. Steven Adams scored 24 points with 15 rebounds for OKC in the defeat.

Leading scorer Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 14 points, his lowest output since he scored seven on Dec. 16 against the Chicago Bulls. The Thunder shot 41.4 percent (12 of 29) from 3-point range but just 67.7 percent (21 of 31) from the free-throw line.

Brooklyn Nets Preview

Looking to end a season-long six-game losing streak, the Brooklyn Nets will play host to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday. The Nets’ most recent defeat came Monday when they dropped a 101-89 decision on the road to the Orlando Magic. Now they return home for their first road/home back-to-back since they lost at Toronto and won at home against the Philadelphia 76ers on Dec 14-15.

Spencer Dinwiddie scored 16 points Monday, the 13th consecutive game he either led the team in scoring or shared the lead. After returning from thumb surgery Saturday, Caris LeVert had the game off Monday but is expected to play against the Thunder.
