North Carolina Tar Heels Preview

The North Carolina Tar Heels have won three games in a row for the first time since November, but they still could end up in last place in the ACC. The regular-season finale comes Saturday night at No. 12 Duke in a rematch of a Feb. 8 game that was won by the visiting Blue Devils when the Tar Heels failed to protect leads late in regulation and in overtime.

Garrison Brooks has reached the 25-point mark in each of the past three games while Cole Anthony has averaged 26.5 points in the past two games. Brooks and Anthony are the first North Carolina duo to both score 25 or more points in consecutive games since the 1965-66 season.

Duke Blue Devils Preview

The Duke Blue Devils bounced back from back-to-back losses to avenge a defeat to North Carolina State with a win on Monday. Now the Blue Devils go into the home finale against North Carolina still with a shot at securing a share of the ACC regular-season title.

In the first meeting with North Carolina, Tre Jones made a shot at the buzzer to send the game to overtime, and Wendell Moore Jr.’s basket off a rebound was the winner in OT. Duke will honor seniors Javin DeLaurier, Jack White and Justin Robinson on Senior Night. Robinson was a little-used player until recently, and he had a season-high 10 points off the bench on Monday.
