Orlando Magic at Boston Celtics

Orlando Magic Preview

The Orlando Magic look to record consecutive wins to begin their three-game road trip when they visit the Boston Celtics on Wednesday. The Magic opened the trek by snapping a five-game losing streak with a 112-100 victory in Charlotte on Monday. Orlando has shown improvement on the road this season, answering a dismal 4-12 to start the season by winning five of its past nine contests away from home.

Evan Fournier scored 30 points in a 109-98 setback to Boston on Jan. 24, a game in which the Magic saw a 16-point, first-half lead slip away before falling on their home court. Markelle Fultz had just six points in that contest, but he recorded a career-best 14 assists on Monday.

Boston Celtics Preview

The Boston Celtics bid for their fifth straight win and eighth in nine games on Wednesday when they host the Orlando Magic. Jayson Tatum scored 15 of his team-high 28 points in the third quarter on Monday during the Celtics’ 123-115 victory at Atlanta. Tatum has seen his playing time increase over the past three games after an ailing groin forced him to sit out the previous three contests, including Boston’s 109-98 victory at Orlando on Jan. 24.

Kemba Walker, who has team-best averages in points (22.0) and assists (5.0), erupted for 37 points in the previous meeting with the Magic. Walker, however, has missed the past two games due to a sore left knee, and he is questionable for Wednesday.
