Los Angeles Lakers at Golden State Warriors

Los Angeles Lakers Preview

The Los Angeles Lakers enter a road game Saturday against the Golden State Warriors coming off a home defeat Thursday in which their defense did not seem sure what was coming. The Houston Rockets used a small-ball lineup and a spread-the-floor strategy to earn a 121-111 victory over the Lakers.

Now comes another game when the Lakers can’t be sure what is ahead, although the Warriors are void of the two superstar look the Rockets have. Golden State now has Andrew Wiggins in the fold, but he might not be available just yet. The Lakers are 2-2 in a stretch of five games in California and are 5-5 going back to Jan. 15.

Golden State Warriors Preview

The Golden State Warriors are still determining if new addition Andrew Wiggins will be available Saturday when they play host to the Los Angeles Lakers. The Warriors sent D’Angelo Russell to Minnesota and landed Wiggins to be a wing player in the future alongside Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson.

Golden State also is without Alec Burks and Glenn Robinson III after they were traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. Russell, Burks and Robinson owned or shared the scoring lead in each of the Warriors’ past 10 games. The Warriors have lost 16 of the past 19 games and are coming off a 129-88 defeat at Brooklyn on Wednesday.
