Kansas City Chiefs Odds
An early AFC West showdown on the second week of the season finds the Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders without featured wide receivers when they clash Sunday at Oakland, Calif. No reason exists to rehash much of the episode involving Antonio Brown except that he never played a down in Oakland. The Chiefs, following a tumultuous offseason involving Tyreek Hill and his link to domestic violence, signed the speedy wideout to a three-year extension only to lose him in the opener. The collarbone injury Hill suffered is expected to keep him out four to six weeks, while Brown’s saga is now playing out in New England. Whatever punch either of those standouts may have provided was overcome in season-opening wins. Some of the impressive production posted by both teams came from a completely different source, the run game.
