The Utah Jazz strive for their fourth consecutive victory when they visit the Boston Celtics on Friday night. Utah’s latest loss came at home against Boston on Feb. 26 when it fell 113-104 despite 37 points from shooting guard Donovan Mitchell. The first-time All-Star is averaging 29.7 points over the past six games, a stretch that began with four straight 30-point outings.  

Mitchell and small forward Bojan Bogdanovic shared team-high honors with 23 points on Wednesday as Utah recorded a 112-104 road win over the New York Knicks. All-Star center Rudy Gobert contributed 18 points and 14 rebounds for his 44th double-double of the campaign, the fifth-best total in the league. 

Boston Celtics Preview

The Boston Celtics will be short-handed again when they attempt to defeat the visiting Utah Jazz for the second time in 10 days. Shooting guard Jaylen Brown (hamstring) and small forward Gordon Hayward (knee) will miss the game while All-Star point guard Kemba Walker (knee) is expected to see action after missing six of the past seven.  

All-Star forward Jayson Tatum missed a game due to illness earlier this week but is fine now, and he tormented Utah with 33 points in a 114-103 road win on Feb. 26. Tatum has scored at least 30 points in five straight appearances and is averaging 33.7 points over his past six outings.
