New York Guardians at St. Louis BattleHawks

New York Guardians Preview

The New York Guardians hope to rebound from an ugly 27-0 loss at DC last week and find some offensive stability when they visit St. Louis on Sunday. Quarterback Matt McGloin was a disastrous 8 of 19 for 44 yards and two interceptions last week, with the second pick returned for a touchdown.

He criticized the team’s play-calling multiple times and was benched for Marquise Williams, who went 4 of 8 for 51 yards. The Guardians were outgained 384-137 by the Defenders after being outgained 394-226 by Tampa Bay in Week 1. McGloin got the majority of reps in practice this week, but no starter has been officially named.
