Detroit Red Wings Preview
The Detroit Red Wings look to put a halt to their third losing streak of at least eight games this season on Monday when they host the Philadelphia Flyers. The Red Wings, who also posted an 0-7-1 record from Oct. 12-27 before dropping 12 in a row (0-10-2) from Nov. 14-Dec. 10, saw their current skid continue with a 1-0 setback to the New York Rangers on Saturday.
A sputtering offense remains an issue for Detroit, which was shut out for the fifth time this season and has mustered just 12 goals on its current winless streak. Dylan Larkin has collected nine assists and 13 points in his last 13 games to boost his team-leading totals in both categories to 24 and 37, respectively.
