Los Angeles Clippers at Golden State Warriors

Los Angeles Clippers Preview

Two days after their six-game winning streak came to an end, the Los Angeles Clippers will attempt to start a new run Tuesday with a road game against the Golden State Warriors. Sunday was also the Clippers’ first loss of the season in three meetings against the Los Angeles Lakers, who prevailed 112-103.

It was the first time in 11 games the Clippers lost with all of their players healthy and in uniform. Paul George scored 31 points against the Lakers while Kawhi Leonard had 27 as they combined to go 18 of 34 from the field. George reached 30 points for the first time since Jan. 5, a span of 15 games.

Golden State Warriors Preview

Stephen Curry will look to take the court for the second time since his return from injury when the Golden State Warriors play host to the Los Angeles Clippers on Tuesday. Curry finally returned from a broken left hand Thursday to score 23 points, but Golden State lost at home to the Toronto Raptors.

He was out due to an illness on Saturday when the Warriors defeated the Philadelphia 76ers 118-114. Curry did not practice Sunday, and coach Steve Kerr said the two-time MVP is questionable for Tuesday. The Warriors had an day off from practice Monday. Golden State is 0-2 vs. the Clippers, including a blowout loss in the regular-season debut of the new Chase Center on Oct. 24.
