Los Angeles Clippers at Boston Celtics

Los Angeles Clippers Preview

The Los Angeles Clippers had Kawhi Leonard, Paul George and Marcus Morris Sr. on the court at the same time Tuesday, and now they will look to win with the adjusted roster when they visit the Boston Celtics on Thursday. The Clippers fell 110-103 to the Philadelphia 76ers as Morris had 13 points in his second game with the Clippers after a trade from the New York Knicks last week.

George had 11 points as the Clippers worked on getting everybody enough touches on offense. Los Angeles is 1-2 on a four-game road trip that concludes in Boston. The Clippers defeated the visiting Celtics 107-104 in overtime on Nov. 20 on a night when Leonard and George played together for the first time.

Boston Celtics Preview

A visit to Boston from Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers used to mean the return of a coach who led the Celtics to their last NBA title, but now it resonates as a clash between two of the better teams in their conferences. The Celtics saw their seven-game winning streak end with a 116-105 defeat to the Rockets on Tuesday in Houston.

The Celtics committed 26 fouls, and the Rockets went 37 of 42 from the free-throw line. The Celtics fell 107-104 in overtime to the Clippers in Los Angeles on Nov. 20 despite 30 points from Jayson Tatum. Boston is 3-10 against the Clippers since Rivers became their coach, losing the past four.
