Milwaukee Bucks at New Orleans Pelicans

Milwaukee Bucks Preview

Back on track after a rare loss to close out January, the Milwaukee Bucks will look for consecutive victories when they travel to New Orleans to meet the Pelicans on Tuesday. All-Stars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton went for 30 and 25 points, respectively, in Milwaukee’s 129-108 victory over the visiting Phoenix Suns on Sunday.

Brook Lopez had a career-best nine blocked shots. Donte DiVincenzo returned from a one-game absence caused by a sprained ankle to score 15 points, but George Hill (hamstring) was out. Despite their loss Friday to the Denver Nuggets, the Bucks still have won 10 of their past 11 games.

New Orleans Pelicans Preview

At just 3-3 in the Zion Williamson era, the New Orleans Pelicans will face a stern home test against the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday. The Pelicans come in off a 117-109 road defeat to the Houston Rockets on Sunday when leading scorer Brandon Ingram had 28 points and 12 rebounds. Williamson had 21 points and 10 rebounds in the defeat.

Four Pelicans starters reached double figures in rebounding as Derrick Favors and Lonzo Ball had 11 each. New Orleans lost despite outrebounding Houston 63-43. The most glaring issue was the 23 turnovers, which greatly contributed to the Pelicans’ three-game winning streak ending.
