Milwaukee Bucks at Denver Nuggets

Milwaukee Bucks Preview

The Milwaukee Bucks will be without Giannis Antetokounmpo for the second straight game on Monday when they visit the Denver Nuggets. The Bucks ruled out the reigning NBA MVP with a minor joint capsule sprain of his left knee, an injury sustained in Friday’s 113-103 setback to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Two nights later, Milwaukee endured another painful setback in the form of back-to-back losses for the first time this season. Khris Middleton, who erupted for 39 points in the Bucks’ 140-131 loss to Phoenix on Sunday, had 24 points and nine assists in a 127-115 setback against Denver on Jan. 31.

Denver Nuggets Preview

The Denver Nuggets look to bounce back from a stunning setback against one of the worst teams in the NBA when they face the league’s best in the visiting Milwaukee Bucks on Monday. Denver, in fact, was swept in the season series by lowly Cleveland after dropping a 104-102 decision on Saturday.

The Nuggets, who have lost five of their last nine games overall, vie for a season sweep of the Bucks on Monday after posting a 127-115 win in Milwaukee on Jan. 31. Will Barton collected 24 points and eight assists in that contest and had 22 points and eight rebounds in Saturday’s setback to the Cavaliers.
