Detroit Red Wings Preview

The NHL-worst Detroit Red Wings look to locate their missing offense on Sunday afternoon when they host the league-leading Boston Bruins. The reeling Red Wings were shut out for the third time in four outings and seventh time overall this season in Friday’s 2-0 setback to Columbus, with the loss serving as Detroit’s 10th in 11 games (1-9-1). While bright spots have been few and far between for the Red Wings, they can hang their hat on posting a 4-2 victory over Boston on Nov. 8.

Robby Fabbri celebrated his debut with Detroit by tallying twice against the Bruins, although he has just one goal in his last dozen games overall. Jonathan Bernier, who made 26 saves and also had two assists versus Boston, has turned aside 87 of 93 shots in three games this month.
