Chicago Blackhawks Preview

The Chicago Blackhawks bid for their seventh win in the past eight contests on Tuesday when they complete their two-game road trip against the Minnesota Wild. Patrick Kane extended his point streak to 12 games (five goals, 13 assists) by assisting on both of Brandon Saad’s goals in Chicago’s 3-2 shootout victory over the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday.

Minnesota Wild Preview

The Minnesota Wild look to regain their footing on Tuesday when they host the Chicago Blackhawks. The Wild fell flat in their first game following the All-Star break and league-mandated bye week, surrendering three power-play goals in the second period of a 6-1 setback to visiting Boston on Saturday. Mats Zuccarello scored against the Bruins to boost his point total to five (three goals, two assists) in his past four games.

Kevin Fiala has scored just one goal in a 17-game span since he tallied twice in Minnesota’s 5-3 setback at Chicago on Dec. 15. Eric Staal, who also scored versus the Blackhawks, is riding a five-game point streak (one goal, five assists).
