After losing the first two games of a four-game California road trip, the reeling Philadelphia 76ers will look to rebound Thursday when they visit the Sacramento Kings. The 76ers took an early 13-point lead against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night but were unable to sustain momentum en route to a 120-107 loss.

Glenn Robinson III matched a career high with 25 points as he takes on increased minutes amid a wave of injuries. Ben Simmons (lower back) and Joel Embiid (left shoulder sprain) have missed five and three consecutive games, respectively. A third starter, Josh Richardson, is in the concussion protocol after sustaining an injury in Sunday’s defeat to the Los Angeles Clippers. Philadelphia has lost nine consecutive road games.

Sacramento Kings Preview

The Sacramento Kings will aim to stretch their winning streak to a season-high four games when they host the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night. Winners of six of seven since the All-Star break, the Kings have climbed to a tie for ninth place in the Western Conference standings entering Thursday behind guard De’Aaron Fox, who is averaging 26.3 points over the past three games.

Sacramento has eclipsed 100 points in 16 straight games, going 11-5 in that span. The Kings tallied a season-high 76 points in the first half Tuesday en route to a 133-126 home win against the Washington Wizards. Sacramento has topped Philadelphia in the teams’ past three meetings at Golden 1 Center.
