Led by Joel Embiid, whose career-high 49 points fueled a 129-112 home victory against Atlanta on Monday, the Philadelphia 76ers will shoot for an elusive road win when they visit the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday. Philadelphia is an NBA-best 27-2 at home but has lost its past six on the road.

Ben Simmons has missed two of the past three games with a lower-back injury, is out for at least two more weeks. Shake Milton started at the point vs. the Hawks while shooting guard Josh Richardson also saw time there. Al Horford returned to the starting lineup Monday after filling a reserve role the previous three games.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will aim for their fourth win in five games when they host the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. Cleveland opened a stretch of playing seven of eight games at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse with a 125-119 overtime win against the Miami Heat on Monday, fueled by a career-high 30 points from rookie Kevin Porter Jr.

The Cavaliers rallied from an 84-62 deficit midway through the third quarter without Dante Exum, who sustained a sprained left ankle before halftime and did not return. Collin Sexton had 13 points, finishing in double figures for the 28th straight game. Cleveland lost to Philadelphia in all three previous meetings this season.
