NFL Week 6 Prop Bet: San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams Alternative Over: 46.5

The Game:

San Francisco 49ers at Los Angeles Rams

The Play:

OVER 46.5 on the Alternative Total Line (-185)

This will be a battle of two powerful offenses that are fighting for supremacy in the NFC West. San Francisco has the 4th most yards in the league and are first in rushing, meanwhile the Rams are fifth in the league in total yards. The 49ers are undefeated and are coming off of a stomping of the Cleveland Browns on Monday night. Moreover, in their games this season they have scored 31, 41, 24, and 31. The Rams and Seahawks combined for 59 points on Thursday and in their previous game at home, they gave up an astounding 55 points to the Rams. In last seasons two encounters, the Rams and 49ers scored 80 and 49 points. If that is not enough, in the season before that, 80 and 47 were put up by these two teams.

Running back Todd Gurley is questionable with a thigh contusion, but he picked up a pair of touchdowns last time out and wide receiver Cooper Cupp has four receiving touchdowns on the season for the Los Angeles Rams. On the other side of the ledger, Niners tight end George Kittle has been explosive with 13 of his 23 receptions on the year going for first downs. This has the makings of another high scoring affair between these two and the Rams defense has been extremely, and unexpectedly soft, giving up eight total touchdowns to the last two quarterbacks they have facedI don’t look for San Francisco to back down but the Rams will outlast a gallant effort by the Niners as both teams put up points and hit the over.
