College Football Best Bet of Week 4: Michigan at Wisconsin
The Game:
MICHIGAN WOLVERINES VS WISCONSIN BADGERS
The Play:
MICHIGAN +3
The Wolverines have had a week off to figure out what needs fixing as they head into this Big 10 battle at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wisconsin. Quarterback Shea Patterson finally will get back his eight-touchdown receiver from a year ago in the likes of Donovan Peoples-Jones. Peoples-Jones might be the spark Michigan’s head coach Jim Harbaugh and the offense needs.
Plus, this game is a noon start which I feel benefits Michigan as the Wisconsin faithful won’t be able to create as wild an atmosphere if it were later in the day. The Badgers have outscored their two opponents by a combined total of 110 points, but that number is a bit deceiving as they will finally face a solid defense this week in the Wolverines. Michigan needs to force Wisconsin quarterback Jack Coan into making plays on 3rd downs and I’m not confident he can.
Michigan gets back on pace towards their goal of a Big 10 championship and shuts down Heisman hopeful Jonathan Taylor in doing so. Taking the three points here is the smart play but Shea Patterson manages this game perfectly and Michigan wins this game outright.
MICHIGAN 27
WISCONSIN 20
