Harry Gagnon of Cousin Sal’s Against All Odds podcast gives his top tease of Week 6: the Florida and Georgia Tech line
The Games:
2-TEAM 7-POINT TEASER
AUBURN TIGERS at FLORIDA GATORS
NORTH CAROLINA TAR HEELS at GEORGIA TECH YELLOW JACKETS
The Play:
FLORIDA +10
GEORGIA TECH +17
Florida is giving up just nine points a game and quarterback Kyle Trask has done a great job since taking over for injured QB Feliepe Franks. Wide receiver Van Jefferson is a big reason for the success of Trask as he has 18 receptions for 248 yards. Taking double digits should be solid at home in the swamp.
After North Carolina’s almost upset of the year, I think they will come back to earth and have a let down on the road in Atlanta. All season long, the Tar Heels have played to the level of their competition; in five games, the largest point discrepancy for them has been six points.
I think their opponent, Georgia Tech, will show up this week and play tough as they go on the road for two straight weeks after the Tar Heel affair. It looks to me like the Yellow Jackets will try to control the time of possession and let running back Tobias Mason (over 500 yards) do his thing.
AUBURN 23
FLORIDA 17
NORTH CAROLINA 26
GEORGIA TECH 19
