Harry Gagnon’s Thursday Night Football Prop Bet for Week 2
The Game:
TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS VS CAROLINA PANTHERS
1ST TOUCHDOWN SCORED BY :
PANTHERS CHRISTIAN McCAFFREY +380
On a national televised stage, you can’t go wrong with a guy who had two touchdowns a week ago and 30 total touches. Christian McCaffrey was amazing last week running (128 yards) and receiving (10 catches for 81 yards) as he was a one-man wrecking crew against the Los Angeles Rams defense. When you get that many touches and chances from inside the 20 the +380 is really hard to pass up.
Thursday Night Football Prop Bet Advice for Week 2: Stay Away From Tampa Bay
Meanwhile taking someone for 1st touchdown from Tampa Bay is a real stretch since you can’t count on their offense or QB Jameis Winston to do much. Winston was awful last week in head coach Bruce Ariens return to football as he tossed three interceptions. Tampa Bay managed just one offensive touchdown for the game and that happened late in the 3rd quarter. All-pro WR Mike Evans was held in check by the San Francisco defense as he was only able to muster two catches for 28 yards. On Thursday night McCaffrey will be around the ball too much in Charlotte not to take a flyer on this rising star.
