Harry’s NASCAR Prop Bets and Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400 Prop Bets

What: Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400

Where: Indianapolis, Indiana

When: July 5, 2020

Well we are coming off a historic weekend in the Pocono’s where it marked the first time in NASCAR history that two events took place at the same venue on the same weekend. This will not be the only time this happens this season. To save on traveling in August, the NASCAR schedule will run weekend races in Michigan and Delaware. NASCAR has done an excellent job with scheduling (despite mother nature bringing rain to almost ever event) and doing this will save on teams having to do all that extra traveling.

We have had duo races in Charlotte and Darlington this season but there were a few days of separation between races. Speaking of the Poconos, the big winner was once again Kevin Harvick as he scored a first and second place finish on the weekend. After 15 events, Harvick continues to lead the circuit in laps, top 10’s, finishing average, and cup points. This week’s event takes us to Indianapolis; a track where Harvick has done well at during his illustrious career (19 races, 321 laps led and two wins).

NASCAR Standings: 500 or More Points After 15 Races

1-581 Kevin Harvick

-Twelve top 10’s this season & lap leader

2-521 Ryan Blaney

-Seven top 5’s

3-510 Brad Keselowski & Chase Elliott

-Keselowski has 10 top 10’s

-Out of this group of five, Elliott has the worst finish average of 13.5

5-506 Denny Hamlin

-Only driver on circuit with four wins

Double-Digit Top 10 Finishes

1-12 Kevin Harvick

2-10 Brad Keselowski & Denny Hamlin

400 or More Laps led

1-572 Kevin Harvick

-Best average finish percentage this season

2-524 Joey Logano

-Despite being 2nd in laps led, Logano has just three top 5 finishes

3-436 Denny Hamlin

4-425 Chase Elliott

-Both Denny and Chase have the most top 5’s this season with nine

Drivers to Stay Away from in Indy

Martin Truex, Jr. and Ricky Stenhouse, Jr.

Truex does not perform well in Indianapolis, especially of late (in his last three races he has finished 27th 33rd, and 41st at Indy). In 15 career races here, Truex has just one top 5 finish and three DNF’s (Did Not Finish). His worst finish ever here is 42nd and his average finish is 21st.

Stenhouse has seven career races in Indy, but has just one top 20 performance while his average finish is 28th.

Harry’s Sleeper Pick for Top 3 Finish at the Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400 and NASCAR Prop Bets

Matt Kenseth +1600

In 19 races here, Kenseth (who has been running better of late) has 12 top 10’s and nine top 5 finishes while his best finish was second. If this is too much of a long shot for you, maybe taking Kenseth for top 10 will work out better.

Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400 Matchups

-150 Matt DiBenedetto

+120 Ricky Stenhouse Jr

Matt is 14th in the points standings, a good five spots ahead of Ricky. Matt also had a nice 6th place finish this past Sunday in the Poconos and, again, Stenhouse has never been good in Indy.

Harry’s NASCAR Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400 Matchup Pick: DiBenedetto

-135 Alex Bowman

+105 Clint Bowyer

I’m going to roll with Bowyer in this spot. He has been hot of late in Indy scoring two straight top 5 finishes

Harry’s NASCAR Matchup Pick: Bowyer

-140 Jimmy Johnson

+110 William Byron

Jimmy’s lifetime statistics here are 18 races, 306 laps led and four wins. Enough said!!!

Harry’s NASCAR Prop Bet Pick: Johnson

Harry’s NASCAR Best Bets to Finish Top 3 and Win

Joey Logano +200 & +800

Logano has been in a rut of late which is extremely uncharacteristic for him and I’m looking for a solid showing on Sunday. In 11 races here, Logano has nine top 20’s and his best finish is second.

Kevin Harvick +115 & +500

Harvick is coming off a 1st and 2nd place finish in the two races in the Poconos. He has also been the most consistent driver on the NASCAR circuit this season. There is no reason why he shouldn’t be at his best this Sunday in Indianapolis. In 19 career races at Indy the 44-year-old has two wins and has led for 321 laps.

Harry’s Top 5 Finishing Order at Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400

5-Matt Kenseth

4-Kyle Busch (two wins and 324 laps led in 15 race Indy career)

3-Clint Bowyer

2-Joey Logano

1-Kevin Harvick
