NASCAR shifts scenes and coasts after an exciting ending in Phoenix as they head back east this week to race in Atlanta. As we hit race No. 5 on the season, only 44–year–old Kevin Harvick can make the claim of finishing in the top 10 of every race so far. Also, do I have a bit of an oddity to share with you; after Joey Logano took the checkered in his No. 22 car this past weekend (his second win of the season), that kept a certain streak alive… only double-numbered cars have won so far this year.
That’s right, with two wins from the 22, one from Danny Hamilin’s No. 11 and the other checkered going to Alex Bowman’s No, 88, only double-numbered cars have crossed the line first. Now that’s some high-quality betting insight I know you come for. All in all, it’s been a wild four weeks of riding on the NASCAR circuit, and I will “bet” there will be many more to come.

NASCAR Odds to Win and Finish Top 3 for the Folds of Honor QuickTrip 500
Point Leaders
164 Kevin Harvick – Four Top 10’s
163 Joey Logano – Two victories this season
144 Chase Elliott – Leads Nascar in total laps led with 186
138 Alex Bowman – One victory and having the best season of his career
131 Jimmy Johnson – Two Top 10’s, One Top 5
To Win and Top 3 Finish
Martin Truex, Jr
+750 To Win
+185 Top 3
Sometimes in betting we just have a gut feeling and place the wager “just because (don’t think that works? Check out my XFL Record).” I’m doing this to a certain extent in Atlanta this week with Truex. Truex does have three consecutive Top 10’s (including a second-place finish last year) at this race so he is worth a look for that reason. However, more recently he’s had a tough go of things so far this season and I believe Atlanta will be his cure all; I see everything going his way and winning his first race of the year on Sunday.
Other Top 3 Finishers
+165 Chase Elliott
Elliott has two Top 10’s and a Top 5 finish to his credit through four races and again has been close to the leaders in every race (as evidences by the fact he leads in laps led).
+325 Kyle Larson
Larson has run well this season with three Top 10’s, one Top 5, and is seventh in overall points with 121. Larson has finished in the Top 10 in Atlanta twice in the last three years and that includes a second-place finish in 2017.

Manufacturer of Winning Car
+135 Ford
+155 Chevy
+235 Toyota
I understand that Ford’s have won this race for three straight years and that Elliott and Larson—who I like this week—are Chevy guys. However, again, I’m basically putting all my eggs in one basket and taking the +235 Toyota here because of my gut feeling with Martin Truex Jr to rebound and run his best race of the season. Sometimes you need to trust your gut, and as some of you know from Against All Odds… I’ve got a good gut.
The Pick: +235 Toyota
Top Toyota Car
+125 Kyle Busch
+150 Martin Truex Jr
+350 Denny Hamlin
+900 Erik Jones
+2000 Christopher Bell
+12500 Daniel Suarez
+35000 Timmy Hill
Despite Denny Hamlin’s win in Daytona and Kyle Busch’s two Top 5 finishes, they are not in the Top 10 leaderboard in overall points. Erik Jones could be a sleeper as he finished in seventh place here a race ago. As you can see, it’s a pattern for me this weekend and I’ll roll with “Marty” again in this prop.
The Pick: +150 Martin Truex Jr.
Best Finisher in Group
+215 Ty Dillon
+215 Bubba Wallace
+275 Michael McDowell
+275 John H. Nemechek
Ty Dillon must be the play in this spot. Out of these four drivers, he is the only one with a Top 10 finish so far this season. Dillon also finished the best in this grouping in last season’s race in Atlanta. In 2017, Dillon recorded a top 15 finish at the QuikTrip 500.
The Pick: +215 Ty Dillon
